How a Medical Doctor Quit Her Job, Went Travelling & Became a Digital Nomad
I think I'm falling in love with Chiang Mai, Thailand.
The energy is amazing, the people are wonderful and of course the food, like I already mentioned last week, is to die for.
What I love though is the pace of the city - you can live life at your own pace and you're surrounded by nature.
You have the city vibe but you also have the mountains a few minutes away, so when the concrete jungle becomes too much, you can get lost in the forest and recenter.
This is exactly what I do. I spent my weekend doing a 10 hour hike.
Well it was a total of 7 hours hiking and the other 3 hours were the hassle of getting there and then having lunch and resting along the way.
But I'm still breathing and I'm not even a little stiff. I feel like a forest baby.
Thailand has the most gorgeous views.
SO WHAT DOES IT ACTUALLY TAKE TO BE A DIGITAL NOMAD?
In today's episode of #WinningWednesday I interview Jessica Phillips about her journey to becoming a digital nomad.
She shares why she left a career as a medical doctor to go travelling and the emotional challenges of making that transition.
She also shares useful information on launching a business so you can make money and start travelling.
