Changing impulsive buying habits & importance of self-preservation when dealing trauma

This week I talked to Tabita Ntuli, a social worker and a specialist in community development. Tabita focuses on helping civil societies and communities in South Africa to navigate easy response and change. Tabita is passionate about society’s moral structures, the norms, the culture, and the state of affairs, especially when it comes to young women.

Money is power, and it lays the basis for negotiation. Money has the power to take you to places you want to go and become what you want to in life. It can also buy you respect that you have not earned and a seat at a table that you don’t deserve.

Doing the #MoneyMagic course has helped Tabita to understand, accept, and fix her impulsive buying habit, which she developed from a young age. The course has also changed her relationship with her money. This has enabled her to discuss financial matters with her family and open up about her expenses. Before the course, she was dishonest, but now she is happy with her wardrobe and at peace with her finances.
