South Africa 2018 Retreat
I spent the whole of November and half of December 2018, in the village in Mpumalanga, South Africa, renovating my mom's house and turning it into a retreat space/ guest house.
It was truly one of the most emotionally, physically and spiritually taxing tasks I have ever undertaken.
I went way over budget cos I had no clue just how much work goes into renovations and building materials.
Consider me officially clued in... cos experience really is a great teacher LOL.
And we were under a time crunch. I had already booked the 2 retreats. And needed to fit at least 10 ppl (per retreat) into the space.
We hosted our first retreat on December 14th - 16th with 10 women.
The second retreat was on Dec 18th - 20th with 10 women and 1 man.
WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OF THIS?
The retreat was only for #MoneyMagic students and the focus was on increasing income (doubling and tripping our individual incomes in 2019) and is based off a weekly goal setting income worksheet in the course.
We did soo much work on the spiritual, emotional and psychological blocks to radically increasing our income.
Then on the last day of each retreat, we got out the worksheet, our calculators, did the math and laid out a simple unique strategy for each of us to reach our set income goal.
We worked out how many products we need to sell, clients we need to get. Time it would take to get this etc.
This was my favorite moment because everyone got to see that this wasn't as impossible as they imagined it to be.
And the reason was simple: we had gone deep into the psyche to deal with deep traumas that stopped us from seeing how to reach our goals with ease.
Because it's really and truly never about the money.
To see everyone literally experience a shift by the time they left, was amazing.
This work humbles me every time.
FOOD
Both retreats were #vegan (I cooked and baked) and we also managed to do tantra #yoga every morning.
Luckily Honey Makwakway came to the second retreat and acted as our photographer. She and Tshepang Ramoba captured so many of the beautiful shots you see here.
EXPANSION CHALLENGES US ALL
This whole village retreat journey has also forced me to go deeper on my mother wound, because it's opened up a whole new layer around expansion and the mother wound for me.
It's been hectic and I have had to just sit with ish and try not to go into victim mode too much.
I see a whole new set of guided meditations coming up.
But this is the work and I feel blessed that to do it, I also need to heal my ancestral baggage
I feel soo absolutely blessed that I could hold space for 21 melinated folk to expand and grow, in my childhood home.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CAME THROUGH...

PS: I am hosting 2 retreats in February and 2 in March in the village in Mpumalanga. I am only taking four people per retreat because I want to add a spa day and hiking to see the sunrise/ sunset etc.
The themes are on what I call "The God Wound". I coined the term and I suspect I will be fully booked by end of Jan. So shoot me an inbox if you want me to reserve your space.
I will give my one on one coaching clients and #MoneyMagic course students first preference. Part of the perks of being part of the tribe.
